Close up of shorts.
I made myself a pair of jammie pants by copying a pair I had that had been loved to death. I picked Simpson's fabric from JoAnn's. Carl was very jealous and wanted his own pair. I went back to JoAnn's and found this cotton flannel Bart fabric.
I picked up New Look pattern 6641.
I used view F.
Carl decided to give sewing a try and helped cut out the pattern. (Don't look at large mound of half sewn projects on the bed...)
He loved driving the sewing machine. I had to put several books under the petal for him to reach.
