Dresscue Me

I am always on the lookout for fun style/fashion type shows. If there is a bit of sewing thrown in - even better. I stumbled onto a a new show on the Planet Green Channel called Dresscue Me. It stars Shareen Mitchell, the owner of an upscale thrift shop in Los Angeles that helps women find vintage dresses for special occasions.

Shareen has a seamstress on staff who updates "needy" clothing to make them more modern.

Shareen has a lot of passion and the show is fun to watch. She definitely seems to make it her personal mission to find the perfect dress for the woman. It's nice to see all sizes represented.

The show reminds me a lot of working at the costume shop, where we often refashioned clothes for shows. We were the original "make it work" crew.
